How We Began
Our Story: From Victim to Conqueror
Founded in 2021 by Antoinette Maluleke, a survivor of domestic violence, BBM Foundation was born from a journey of resilience and hope. After overcoming her own hardships, Antoinette envisioned a way to empower women facing similar struggles, offering support and guidance to help them rebuild their lives and transition from victims to thriving survivors.
The BBM Foundation supports vulnerable women and girls from all backgrounds, providing advisory services, mentorship, and personal development programs. Our aim is to help every woman realize her inner greatness, empowering her to overcome challenges and succeed.
Our Services
BBM Foundation serves unemployed women, young ladies and survivors of GBV with the aim of linking women in need of psycho – social assistance and the service providers who are available to assist them. We do this by providing the following:
Workshops
Devotion Classes
This workshop aims to deepen beneficiaries’ spiritual connection with God, inspire their faith, and equip them with practical tools for daily spiritual growth.
Capacity Building
Our capacity building workshop is designed to empower our beneficiaries by providing practical tools and strategies helping the realize that they can be more.
Entrepreneurship
This comprehensive entrepreneurship and digital marketing course is designed to equip beneficiaries with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in today’s competitive business landscape.
Basic Sewing Skills
Our basic sewing workshop is designed to equip beneficiaries with the essential basic skills to create their own garments and accessories.
Cooking & Baking
Beneficiaries learn basic food preparation techniques, experiment with flavors, and create delicious dishes from scratch.
Computer Literacy
Our computer literacy workshop is designed to equip beneficiaries with the essential skills to navigate the digital world with confidence.

BBM SUBSIDIARIES
The BBM Foundation established the BBM Community Market Group in 2023 as a sustainability initiative to fund its programs while supporting local communities. Through markets like the monthly Lyttelton Community Market, we bring Centurion residents together to celebrate and support local artisans, small businesses, and informal traders. Our markets provide a family-friendly space, fostering opportunities for local businesses to thrive.
Basadi Ba Moshito Events
BBM SUBSIDIARIES
As part of our sustainability efforts, the Basadi Ba Moshito Event Managers team offers catering and event services for training, corporate events, workshops, and more. Drawing on years of experience coordinating church gatherings, weddings, and community events, we bring passion, vision, and a commitment to excellence to every occasion. Proceeds support our foundation’s mission and operational needs.
BBM Charity Shops
BBM SUBSIDIARIES
The BBM Foundation Charity Shops, located at Lyttelton Shopping Centre and Forest Hill City Mall, were launched to fund our Women Unleashed Skills Development Program. Selling donated, high-quality items—including clothing, accessories, books, and homeware—these shops offer affordable finds while supporting the empowerment of unemployed and underserved women in South Africa. Every purchase helps fund BBM’s mission, and online shoppers can also explore BBM merchandise.
